The Senior Commodity Food Box Program provides a box of food for a senior 60 or over, and income-eligible. The box is received once a month and must be picked up at 124 Buehler St. Galion OH. 

The Prescription Assistance Program is available for those in need of assistance to purchase medications or cover co-payments.  

The Back-Pack Program is for Galion City School children K through 12. This program offers a bag of food to assist the family over the weekend. The program runs during the school year.  

The Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) is funded by the Department of Homeland Security to assist with emergency food and shelter programs. Further information can be obtained by 

The Rapid Rehousing and Homeless Prevention Programs are here to help those struggling with homelessness or who are in danger of becoming homeless.  

The School Supply Assistance Program is for Galion City School children only. We assist with supplies, uniforms, and Back Packs. 

The Holiday Assistance Program is for Galion residents only. Our assistance is determined by donations from the community.  

The COVID-related funding Individuals or families who have been impacted by COVID could receive assistance with household bills.  

The Food Pantry is an emergency-only option for households in Crawford County. If possible please call ahead for an appointment. 

Our Support Services are offered for individuals who require transportation assistance (gas voucher or bus pass) to secure employment.  

We are a Resource and Referral agency. Many of our staff attend community meetings to stay up-to-date on available resources, services and funding.
